TROMBONE

Neil Rosenow plays trombone in the band. He grew up in LaPorte Indiana and after graduation came west to attend Arizona State University.  He moved to the Verde Valley in 1980, working initially for Valley National Bank. In 1983 Neil started a new State Farm Insurance Agency in Cottonwood and is still serving many happy customers.
Neil started playing trombone in 4th grade, continued playing in high school and played two years in the ASU marching band.  During the summers while in high school and college, he played in the La Porte City Band where they played weekly concerts in the park. He put his horn in the closet after graduating from ASU and didn’t pull it out until he joined the Cottonwood Community Band in 1990. His wife Lisa joined the band a few years after Neil. She plays flute and percussion. Neil enjoys playing golf, reading, traveling, and watching our Arizona sports teams.  He has held numerous positions in his church, been a member of the Clarkdale Verde Kiwanis club since before 1991, and has served on many local boards over the past years.
