Cottonwood Community Band

JULIE LACKSONEN

Flautist, Julie Lacksonen (nee Smith), could be considered synonymous with the Cottonwood Community Band having been a member since 1990 and having served as its conductor for 4 of those years. She has lived in Cottonwood since 1987 after moving from Minnesota.
She is a music teacher in the Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District and also serves as music director at Faith Lutheran Church. In addition to enjoying teaching, singing, composing, playing, and directing, Julie enjoys hiking, reading, writing, traveling, swimming, scuba, and time with family and friends. Thank you Julie for all that you have done for the band.
