Phil took up music for the first time at age 45, learning clarinet to play in a 1995 reunion halftime show with the USC Trojan Marching Band. “Marching a ‘perfect’ halftime in the Coliseum was the experience of a lifetime!” He’s performed with the Flagstaff Community band, Lake Concert Band (FL), and joined the Cottonwood Community Band when he returned “back home” to Arizona in 2020.
