I grew up, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  I started playing trombone in the 4th grade.  In high school and college, I played in marching bands, orchestras, and jazz bands.  After high school, I played in the “Up With People” Show, traveling for 1 ½ years. After graduating from the Univ. of New Mexico, I enjoyed playing in Community Bands in Clovis, NM and Denver.   When I moved to Sedona, in 1991, I joined the Community Band not just to play my horn but because I knew hardly anyone in town.  Living, now, in Cottonwood with my wife Helene, I continue to not just enjoy playing trombone but also the camaraderie of the band.
