Brian is a native of Oulton, Yorkshire, England. Since 1964 he has lived in Raleigh, St. Louis and Allentown. In Raleigh he became a US citizen and started clarinet at the age of 40. In St. Louis he played in the "After Hours Community Band". After retirement as a Science Fellow, he and his wife, Karen, cruised the Caribbean for 5 years on 40' sloop "Full Monty": so called because they sold all their houses and cars and made a full commitment to living aboard. They now live in self built house in Clarkdale. Brian enjoys riding an electric tricycle and playing tennis. In 2021 he has responsibility for updating this web site.
